JNTU-KAKINADA : Procedure to apply for Provisional Certificates (PC) & Consolidated Marks Memos (CMM)

The following is the Procedure to apply for Provisional Certificates (PC) & Consolidated Marks Memos (CMM)

I: The student can be awarded degree for 200 credits by exempting maximum of 2 subjects of 2

    credits each for I year (1^st and 2^nd Semester combined) and any one subject of 4 credits from    II year to IV year of odd and even semesters.

II: The student can be awarded degree for 200 credits by exempting any 2 subjects of 4 credits

      each from II year to IV year of odd and even semesters.

 

Also, the students of 2010 batch admitted will be awarded B.Tech degrees as per the following grades listed below:

Grade & Description	% of marks secured
E       -      AVERAGE	40% to < 50%
D       -     SATISFACTORY	50% to < 60%
C       -     FAIR	60% to < 70%
B       -     GOOD	70% to < 80%
A       -     EXCELLENT	80% to < 90%
O       -     OUTSTANDING	90 and above

I) Procedure to obtain PC & CMM [Tatkal Process]

1. Provisional Certificate application signed by the college Principal
2. Consolidated Marks Memo certified by the concerned college Principal
3. Attested copies of all Marks Memos from SSC up to the Degree.
4. DD for Rs. 3,000/- drawn in the name of The Registrar, JNTU Kakinada, payable at Kakinada
5. Students who failed in 1, 2, 3 subjects & wish to leave then under exemption rule need to submit the undertaking form. [Only For B.Tech Courses]

 Important Information:

   
Apply for PC,CMM directly at JNTUK by enclosing the above documents. The Provisional Certificate will be made ready within 24 hours (one working day) after submission. The concerned student can take the Provisional Certificate   and consolidate Marks Memoafter producing his College identity card.

II) Procedure to obtain PC & CMM [Normal Process at your respective college] 

Submit the below mentioned documents at your respective college exam cell.

 1. Filled Provisional Certificate application
2. Filled Consolidated Marks Memo application.
3. Copies of all Marks Memos from SSC up to the Degree.
4. Pay Rs.200/- at your respective college exam cell.
5. Students who failed in 1, 2, 3 subjects & wish to leave then under exemption rule need to submit the undertaking form. [Only For B.Tech Courses]

Note : After verification with the data available with the University, the provisional certificate and consolidate Marks Memo will be issued to the colleges directly.
